Notes:
Éric Barozzi suffered a fatal accident during the proceedings of the 1996 edition of the Gassin hillclimb. Delagne was competing with a red kart #12 in that event.
The Gassin hillclimb covers a 1.71-kilometer segment of the Route Départamentale D89, also known in that location as Route de la Vignus. Gassin is a small village located some seven kilometers southwest of Saint Tropez, in the French Department of Var. The event is organized since 1984 by the Association Sportive Automobile de Saint-Raphaël et Région. Until 1988 it was a regional event, and since that year it has been a fixture of the First Division of the French Hillclimb Cup.
