Notes:
The 37-year-old Irish rally driver Tom White passed away on Wednesday, 28 February 2007, from injuries suffered more than five months before, during the Clare Stages Rally.

The accident took place on Sunday, 17 September 2006, during the fourth special stage of the rally. Tom White sustained grievous head injuries when his Toyota Starlet which sported the race number 110 on its doors, went out of control and struck a tree at a bend near the village of Feakle, in County Clare, Ireland. His co-driver Shane Mc Auliffe was not injured.

Tom White was reached by the rescue team's ambulance in a matter of minutes, being quickly taken to the intensive care unit of the Mid West Regional Hospital in Limerick. He died after never regaining consciousness five months after his accident.

A father of a 16-month-old boy, Tomas, and originally from Monagea, Ireland, Tom White lived with his family in Raheenagh, Ballagh, in County Limerick. He had been well known in rally circles for a number of years. He began competing in rallies in 1994.

Organised by the Clare Motor Club, the Clare Stages Rally was the ninth and penultimate round of the 2006 Dunlop Ireland National Rally Championship. Patrick Elliott-Rory Kennedy in a Subaru Impreza WRC were the winners of the rally.

Tom White was a member of the Limerick Motor Club. After his death, his wife Brigetta presented this memorial trophy to the club, in his honor.
