Notes:
The weekend events at the Formula Dodge Eastern/Midwestern Regional Race Series at Mid-Ohio saw, during the last race of the second day, the car of Tim Todd leave the track and end up on a protective barrier. Todd was declared dead on route to a hospital of an apparent heart attack.

The 52-year-old Bay Village, Ohio, resident was president of the Hanna Zabriskie & Daron industrial engineering firm. He was a native of Berea, Ohio, a 1966 graduate of Westlake High School, and a 1971 graduate of Ohio State University, where he earned an engineering degree.

Survivors included his wife of 27 years, Kathleen; their daughter, Molly, of Chicago, Illinois; and their son, Brian, of Bay Village; his parents, Hasting and Norma of Westlake, Ohio; and two brothers and a sister.
