Notes: Hong Kong motorcyclist Tsang Shea Lun died in Macau hospital from injuries in a crash which happened during the 7th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix.
The accident occurred on Sunday, 16 November 1973. Tsang Shea Lun crashed his Norton Commando into a retaining wall, on the third lap of the race held on the twisting Circuito da Guia, 6.11-kilometer street course in Macau.
Japanese riders swept the first three places in the 25-lap race. Takashi Arioka was the winner, from Akira Terui, second and Toshimitsu So, all three riding Suzuki TR500s.
Tsang Shea Lun was reported to be the fourth competitor, the first motorcycle rider, to be killed in the Macau Grand Prix since the first edition held in 1958.
