Notes:
Jürgen "Oeli" Oelschläger was hit in the back by a following competitor when he had a highsider in his Honda superbike of the team Alpha-Technik. The accident happened on 11 September 2004 during practice for a round of the IDM (Internationale Deutsche Motorradmeisterschaft) championship at Oschersleben. He succumbed to his injuries fifteen days later - three days before his thirty-fifth birthday.

Oelschläger was an accomplished rider, he had raced in the World Superbike Championship, obtaining a ninth place at Assen in 2000. After his debut in 1992 in the Yamaha Cup, Oelschläger spent all his career in the IDM series, racing in the 250 class from 1994 to 1996 in the SSP 600 from 1997 to 2002 (in 1999 he was second in points) and in the Superbike championship in 2003 and 2004.
